Position Summary:

The role of Argyle Kids Minister is to fulfill the mission and vision of The Door Church (TDC) by leading and managing the Kids Ministry at TDCs Argyle Campus, providing a safe, Christ-centered environment for children and volunteers.

Position Responsibilities:

Ministry Leadership

• Lead TDC Kids Ministry at the Argyle Campus, shepherding children and volunteers into a safe, gospelcentered community and environment
• Develop and lead the Argyle Kids Ministry volunteer team, investing in volunteers throughout the week for the purposes of connecting, equipping, and discipling
• Connect and build relationships with parents and/ or guardians of TDC Argyle

Ministry Execution

• Manage and execute all aspects of TDC Argyle Kids weekend gatherings, including but not limited to:

• Teaching gospel-centered curriculum in TDC Kids gathings
• Ensuring teaching team is prepared to deliver clear gospel message
• Scheduling, preparing, training, and connecting with volunteers
• Managing the kids ministry area during Sunday gatherings, including ensuring safe arrival and departure, addressing potential behavioral issues, communicating with parents/guardians, etc.
• Preparing and organizing the TDC Kids Ministry classrooms each week

• Recruit new volunteers and manage all volunteer screening, onboarding, ongoing training, etc.
• Work alongside TDC Kids Ministry Team to plan and execute TDC Kids events throughout the year
• Execute all supplies purchasing for weekly activities/ lesson plans

• Seek to grow in affection for God and to deepen your understanding of His Word
• Be committed to the TDC Argyle church family through pursuing membership and participation in Sunday gatherings
• Be known in Biblical community

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Passionate about the gospel and children experiencing Christ
• Strong communication, coordination & organizational skills
• Must be a member of The Door Church or willing to become one; committed to the TDC Argyle church family
• Able to identify and develop volunteer leaders
