Dabri, Inc., is currently seeking a Deputy Manager for our client at Los Angeles World Airport (LAWA). The Deputy Manager will play a key role in overseeing project operations and ensuring the successful execution of various construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute construction projects efficiently
  • Assist in budgeting, cost estimating, and financial management of projects
  • Review design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met
  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources related to design activities.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during construction
  • Participate in negotiations with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms
  • Support the team in drafting project proposals and reports
  • Oversee interior design aspects to align with project requirements
  • Contribute to the overall construction management process

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred
  • Certification in Design Management (CDM) preferred

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management or related field
  • Proficiency in software such as Bluebeam
  • Strong budgeting skills and ability to manage project finances effectively
  • Knowledge of negotiating techniques to ensure cost-effective project outcomes
  • Familiarity with architectural design principles and construction processes
