Pay

  • $26.00 - $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities

As aResidential HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing AC and furnace tune-ups, troubleshooting and repairing issues related to heating and cooling systems, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The following outlines the primary duties and responsibilities required for this position:

  • Perform AC and furnace tune-ups, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components for optimal performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and cooling systems to identify the root cause of issues
  • Repair and replace faulty components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and effectively and in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols
  • Communicate with customers to explain diagnoses, recommendations, and repairs needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing education on HVAC systems and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments, advancements, and regulations

Job requirements

  • Type 2 AC certification (NATE certification is a plus)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (HVAC jobs or training)
  • Knowledge ofElectrical high and low voltage
  • Troubleshooting skills and mechanically inclined
  • Ability touse tools correctly
  • Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
  • Clean background check and able to pass a drug test
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
