Schedule:

• After your orientation period - your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Caseloads:

• On a usual day, most of our CNAs see 5-7 patients.

• You will typically spend 45 minutes to 60 minutes with each patient.

What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll see your patients wherever they consider home (personal residence, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities). We provide quality care regardless of circumstance to a variety of different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

- If you have patients in facilities, you may be responsible for charting within the facility EMR.

• You will care for patients and complete documentation at the bedside on a company provided cellphone.

• You’ll provide direct patient care such as bathing, peri-care, dressing, mouth care, assisting to toilet, incontinence care, repositioning in bed, and assisting with meals.

• You will tidy the immediate area and change bed linens for the patient.

• Expect to spend time driving between patients every day. Your mileage between patient visits is reimbursable.

• You’ll need to make sure you maintain an adequate level of supplies in your vehicle to provide patient care. You’ll pick up new supplies at the branch office in your area.

• You’ll be responsible for working closely with each RN case manager to communicate patient status changes, as well as patient or family concerns.

• Part of your visits will consist of training the caregivers to provide personal care to their loved one, while remaining within your scope of practice.

• You’ll be responsible for coordinating visit times with the patient or caregiver for all assigned patients.


Education: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of CNA course. Must attend 12 hours of in-service training supervised by a Registered Nurse on a rolling 12-month basis. Competency of the CNA is assessed in the home every 14 days.

Licensure / Certifications: Current certification with State Board of Nursing, or current registration with Department of Facilities Service in the State of North Carolina/ South Carolina.
