Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

The Crane Foreman is responsible for the supervision of maintenance and deficiency correction follow up on the Company’s crane assets within the framework of Arena Offshores policies and procedures and in compliance with API-RP-2D regulations.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for directing technical support for Arena’s Offshore cranes including but not limited to:

· Responsible for working closely with each Production Foreman’s crane related issues within their area of responsibility such as but not limited to crane failures, crane conditions, crane performance, crane service/availability, etc.

· Responsible for assisting in investigating crane related incidents.

· Responsible for preventing crane failures by maintaining cranes in good usable condition.

· Responsible for maintaining all AOL crane records in house.

· Responsible for scheduling inspections for all Arena owned cranes.

· Responsible for reviewing all inspection reports.

· Responsible for scheduling all deficiency corrections noted on the inspection reports.

· Responsible for providing to each area’s Production Foreman their LOE crane budget for the coming year.

· Responsible for maintaining Arena’s crane assets within the approved LOE budget.

· Tracking offshore and onshore costs associated with labor and materials

· Maintaining a projected final cost (PFC) as well as real-time progress tracking.

· Responsible for the selection of all third-party offshore crane mechanics.

· Responsible for the scheduling of third-party mechanics.

· Responsible for confirming third-party offshore crane mechanics qualifications through skills and knowledge assessments.

· Responsible for maintaining consistency between all Production Area’s.

· Collaborating with Facility Engineers and Construction Foremen on crane statuses across the asset base


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years’ offshore experience in offshore facilities, platforms, and crane operations.
