The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in auto mechanics.
  • Basic mechanical ability and understanding of vehicle systems including electrical systems.
  • State inspection license.
  • Completion of required brake certification and some OEM training; optional hazardous material training.
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with supervision.
  • Valid Pennsylvania State Driver’s License.
  • Having or obtaining a CDL with P (passenger) and S (School Bus) is REQUIRED within 6 months of hire.

About the Company: Krapf School Bus is a family-owned and operated transportation business established in 1942, by George Krapf, Jr., to provide pupil transportation for the local municipalities. Initially operating with two school buses, the company has grown and expanded, not only in size, but also in scope and diversity.
