DCS is a dental revenue cycle management company that works with dentists, dental offices and DSOs in the United States. DCS empowers dental teams by integrating highly trained RCM experts and a unique technology framework to maximize profitability and catalyze growth. Our dental billing systems and processes allow our employees to work all aspects of the full revenue cycle system efficiently, to increase profits for dental practices and groups.


Position Summary:

The HR Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. They assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department and contribute to creating a positive and efficient work environment. The HR Assistant provides support in areas such as employee relations, recruitment and selection, onboarding, record-keeping, and general HR functions.

 

How the Human Resources Assistant fits in:

Although the Human Resources Assistant may be administrative in nature, the role is significant and impactful to the success of DCS. Supporting strategic HR functions include, but not limited to: Efficient HR Operations, Positive Employee Experience, Compliance, Risk Management, Administrative Support, Employee Relations and Engagement.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Create and maintain your schedule to ensure success.
  • Screen applicants - Review resumes & applications for specific positions depending upon skillset and sources.
  • Review hiring assessments and bring ideal candidates through the hiring process.
  • Complete and perform reference checks as needed.
  • Respond to hiring inquiries as needed.
  • Calculate, reconcile and process contractor and W2 payroll.
  • Onboard and manage any employee updates within company’s HRIS.
  • Apply 401k distributions, to comply with Safe Harbor compliance.
  • Apply for State/Jurisdiction Withholding and Unemployment accounts, Paid Family Leave programs.
  • Sync with Human Resources Manager on updates and initiatives.

  • Highly communicative with applicants and the Human Resources team.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Be proactive with respect to Human Resources goals.
  • Accomplish deadlines in relation to HR functions.
  • Highly organized and tech savvy.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years Human Resource administrative experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR assistant or in a similar administrative role, demonstrating your commitment to HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases, showcasing your ability to adapt to technological tools.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and billing (preferred, but not required).
  • High School diploma or GED, some college coursework preferred; additional education in HR or a related field is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Google Drive a plus

 

Compensation:

  • $40,000+ salary commensurate with experience
