Leasing Specialist

As a Leasing Agent, you are the first step in creating a sense of community for current and prospective residents. You are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and using your sales skills to convert property tours to leases. Consider this role as the first line of defense for the property manager. This position reports to the property manager and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.

$18 - $22 hourly

• Welcome and assist potential residents while maintaining proper filing and organization
• Market and lease available apartment inventory
• Engage with potential residents and address concerns of current residents, facilitating service requests
• Ensure lease application paperwork is completed and organized properly
• Support the Property Manager in ensuring resident file compliance
• Participate in community events and activities to enhance resident retention
• Support the Property Manager with marketing initiatives

• Minimum of 6 months experience within the residential Industry
• Property Management software knowledge such as Yardi, OneSite, or BlueMoon (or other equivalent software)
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Ability to work weekends
• Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers
• Assist the Property Manager to ensure compliance with all resident files
• Assist with community events and resident retention
