Seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant in the SW Portland area. $28-$32 per hour + Benefits

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience (Required). Must be computer savvy and adaptable with new technology. Previous front office admin experience is a plus, but not required.

Schedule: Full Time

  • Workdays are Monday through Friday
  • Total weekly hours of 32-40 per week

Compensation:

  • $28-$32 per hour (pay rate will rise swiftly with demonstration of skills)

Duties for our Surgical Dental Assistant include:

  • Assisting doctor chairside for exams and surgical procedures
  • Assisting with notes and treatment plans
  • Periodontal charting, xrays, impressions
  • Taking CBCT’s & assisting with implant procedures
  • Preparing surgical guides
  • Coordination of treatment with the lab and other dental offices
  • Scheduling post-op appointments, removing sutures
  • Scheduling new patients and available for hygiene support
