The Social Media Supervisor must be experienced in all aspects of social media including, content creation, paid advertising, influencer targeting, and demographic targeting. The Social Media Supervisor will contribute to the strategy for all aspects of digital media and execute the vision of the company with the goal of increasing brand awareness, sales, and store traffic. The duties and responsibilities of this job consist of the following features.

• Extreme creativity in regards to creating video and static content that elicits engagement and attracts customers to visit our stores and/or try our products.

• Expected to always be knowledgeable of the latest content trends, changes in algorithms for the various platforms, and best advertising/tracking/targeting techniques.

• Increasing followers, likes, and engagement is expected, however, the Social Media Supervisor must also have a deep understanding of how to translate those aspects into tangible sales and store traffic.

• Must have an understanding of great customer service in order to engage with customers through various social platforms including, but not restricted to FB, IG, Twitter, and Yelp with the decorum expected of an 85C team member.

• Hold strategic discussions with the management to bring them up to date with social media, results, customer sentiment, and all other pertinent news.

• Must know how to identify, target, reach, and book relevant influencers on a regular basis.

• Must be willing to engage in more than just social media. As directed by management, the Social Media Supervisor will also engage in other advertising aspects such as PR, interviews, advertising communication, etc.

Required Skills and Abilities

Create relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers.

Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written)

Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.

Maintain the brand look of all platforms (ie: Facebook, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter, and blog).

Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.

Research, target, and book relevant influencers who can effectively promote products or the brand.

Compile reports for management showing results (ROI)

Willingness to travel. Primarily for store visits to create content, participate in Grand Openings, and other duties and events as needed.

Must be able to lift/carry upward of 25 lb objects.

Job Duties

Become the “Brand Ambassador” for the Company in Social Media spaces.

Engage in dialogues and answer questions where appropriate.

Must have a willingness to be “in front of the camera” to create content (ie Reels, IGTV, YouTube or vlogs) that educates or promotes a product, campaign, the brand or our industry.

Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and then execute that strategy.

Research, target, and book relevant influencers who can effectively promote products or the brand.

Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.

Monitor trends in Social Media applications, channels, tools, design and strategy.

Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management.

Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.

Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.

Evaluate and update the 85CBakerycafe.com site and all social media outlets to maintain brand fidelity, content quality, and program reach.
