Role Overview:
SWCORP is seeking a highly skilled Fiberglass Technician with substantial experience in the field to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fiberglass fabrication, repair, and maintenance, and will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and durability of our bath product components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fiberglass Fabrication: Utilize advanced techniques to mold, laminate, and cure fiberglass materials, producing high-quality components for our diverse range of bath products.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Identify and address defects or issues with fiberglass components, performing detailed repairs and refinishing to maintain product integrity.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of fiberglass parts to ensure compliance with SWCORP's stringent quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to fiberglass processes and techniques to boost product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including proper handling of fiberglass materials and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Documentation: Keep precise records of production, repair, and maintenance activities to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with fiberglass materials in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Expertise in fiberglass molding, laminating, and finishing techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fiberglass resins, curing processes, and quality control measures.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in fiberglass technology or related fields are advantageous.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and using hand tools and machinery.
