We are seeking a professional and personable Server/Waiter to join our team and deliver outstanding service to our guests.
Position Overview: As a Server/Waiter at Eximius Associates, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing attentive, friendly service throughout the meal. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Monitor and attend to guests’ needs throughout their meal, offering refills and additional items as needed.
- Clear tables efficiently and prepare them for the next set of guests.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or functions.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server, waiter, or in a related hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or customer service are a plus.
