Vice President Sales

We are looking for a Vice President of Distilling Solutions Sales to join our MGP team in Lawrenceburg, IN. This position is responsible for strategic planning and implementing sales growth programs. This role would also be responsible for marketing programs for both short and long term planning targeted towards existing and new markets/customers.

What will you do?

Strategy Development

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts for the Distilling Business Unit to achieve corporate objectives.
• Develop and execute creative business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Sales Execution

• Conduct regular and insightful business reviews with internal team, setting clear goals and objectives to meet targets.
• Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices throughout the organization.

Lead Generation

• Identify new business opportunities within the beverage alcohol sector, utilizing your industry knowledge.
• Attend industry networking events, trade shows and conventions.
  Leverage industry insights and relationships to maximize sales potential.
• Monitor competitor activities and seize advantageous opportunities.

What do you need to bring to the table?

• Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry (preferably bourbon, and whiskey).
• A strong network of contacts within the beverage alcohol industry.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
• An in-depth comprehension of the market dynamics, evolving consumer trends, and beverage alcohol business.
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• A results-oriented mindset with a proactive and strategic approach.
• Proficiency in analyzing market data to generate actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong leadership acumen.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
