Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections and identifying areas for improvement in outdoor spaces.
  • Performing various lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging.
  • Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments to maintain healthy and vibrant lawns.
  • Operating and maintaining lawn maintenance equipment.
  • Ensuring efficient and high-quality completion of projects.
  • Collaborating with team members and providing assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in lawn care or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even the smallest issues.
  • Excellent knowledge of lawn care techniques, equipment, and products.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina to withstand outdoor work in different weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Apply fertilizers and weed control materials to yards to control weeds and promote healthy growth.
  • Treat shrubs and trees to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Perform pesticide applications on both residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct mole treatment to eliminate mole infestations.
  • Consult and communicate with sales representatives and production managers to ensure client specifications are met.
  • Interact with customers on-site and over the phone to address their lawn care needs.
  • Assist with snow removal when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to complete projects.
  • Maintain equipment and work vehicle to ensure proper functioning.
Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current Category 3 applicators license or ornamental turf license for Missouri and/or Illinois.
  • Should be able to consistently lift and pull 50 lbs throughout the entire shift.
  • Prior experience in aerating and overseeding lawns is advantageous.
  • Must have a valid Class E driver’s license and a clean MVR.
  • Positive attitude and a hardworking nature are essential.
  • Good attendance and reliability are required.
  • Should be capable of working alone or as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or GED is necessary.
  • Snow removal experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to assist in other departments when needed.
  • Ability to identify different types of plant material.
