Job DescriptionJob DescriptionContinuous ImprovementPeoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent fragrance manufacturer in the Budd Lake, NJ area has an opening in their continuous improvement department This is a climate-controlled facility offering great growth opportunities. Job Summary:
  1. Pay: $25 an hour
  2. Shifts Available:
    1. 1st Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  1. Conduct regular implementation of action in work areas & identify opportunities for improvement using the 5s methodology
  2. Implement and maintain 5S Methodology (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in all areas of the facility, including production floors, storage areas, and common spaces.
  3. Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organizing to support 5s initiatives
  4. Install and maintain visual management tools, such as signage, labeling, and shadow boards.
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of 5S training programs
  6. Collaborate with department managers
  7. participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
5S Handyman Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma
  2. Proven experience in maintenance and facilities management preferable in industrial or manufacturing
  3. Experience with basic hand and power tools
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees
  6. Detail oriented with a focus on quality and safety
