Reports to: Call Center Supervisor
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Call Center Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving customer inquiries, providing information, and delivering exceptional service. As a Call Center Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and are expected to provide a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle outbound calls for follow-ups, customer surveys, or promotional purposes as needed.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and policies.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments or supervisors.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about company products and services to provide timely and accurate responses.
- Meet individual and team performance metrics, such as call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle difficult customers calmly and professionally.
- Proficient in using computers, including knowledge of CRM software, word processing, and data entry.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
