Psych Acute Registered Nurse (RN)
CTTX Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psych Acute Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Psych Acute RN, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute care setting.
At CTTX Health, we prioritize patient-centered care and aim to create a therapeutic and supportive environment for our patients. As a Psych Acute RN, you will assess and monitor patients' mental health conditions, administer medications, implement treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic nurse who has experience in psychiatric nursing and is dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being. Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' mental health conditions in an inpatient acute care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Implement and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and emotional support to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
