Shift Description: '8hr days 40hr guarantee'
Shift Identifier: 'Evenings'
Shift Start: '3:00 PM'
Shift End: '11:00 PM'
Shift Hours: 8

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
  • Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
  • May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
  • Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications.
  • Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation. Maintains department competencies as required.
  • Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography

Requirement:

  • 2 Years CURRENT experience, 1 YEAR CURRENT EXPERIENCE
  • ARRT (R) Certification - Required
  • Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
  • Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
