SKILLS & TASK

  1. Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, and expected to have a working understanding of operations to effectively communicate with clients, rig up/down parts to be tested.
  2. Use Pneumatic testing equipment that includes integrating gas, air, or water to pressurize the system monitoring gauges that read pressure from the source.
  3. Pressure test mission critical in virtually all oil and gas instances not only to ensure safety, but also to maintain proper functioning of your equipment.
  4. Perform pressure testing of pipes, pipelines, and vessels to expose defective materials that may have been missing during prior inspections.
  5. Ensure that any remaining defects are insignificant enough to allow operation at design pressures, expose possible leaks, and serve as a final validation of the integrity of the system.
  6. Perform static torque checks for audit purposes and analyzing torque data to push changes or specs if needed.
  7. Perform repair to modules for torque containment if required.
  8. Conduct internal and external root cause analysis in conjunction with engineering/QC as needed.
  9. Track, record, and monitor flange management activities including:
  10. On-site flange tagging
  11. Support for hydro-testing/re-in statement after hydro test and support for leak testing.
  12. Assuring the quality of bolt tightening tools and equipment including but not limited to hydraulic hoses and couplings and provide flange management training as needed.
  13. Operation of heavy equipment or operation of vehicles: Occasionally
  14. This position conducts troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment that is used for pressure testing of equipment.
  15. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues (mechanical replacement of parts such as pressure pumps, thermocouples, tooling, treating iron, tubing etc.)
  16. Diagnose and resolve hydraulic issues (replacement of control valves, pumps, motors, cylinders, and hydraulic pressure hoses)
  17. Diagnose and resolve basic electrical issues (troubleshooting VFD, motors, 4-20mA and 24V sensors, and PLC and RMC controllers)
  18. Diagnose and resolve pneumatic issues (troubleshooting control valves, cylinders, vacuum systems, and basic compressor knowledge)
  19. Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
  20. Use Microsoft word, excel and basic computer operation for Maintenance and Test reporting summaries for proper documentation.
  21. Ability to work and communicate well with engineers, management, and all other departments verbally and electronically.
  22. Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to or in lieu of those described above, and any duties subject to change at any time, according to the needs of the company.


Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• At least one year of experience preferred.

• HD (strong mechanical/hydraulic background)


Specific Skills:

• Read & interpret blueprints/drawing specifications. Manual or processes

• Follow oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.

• Air system, chassis, hydraulic, mechanical knowledge

• Operate general hand & air tools for assembly and installations.

• Operation of hand tools/power tools/ all measurement equipment/multimeters/ oscilloscopes/ ammeters/ voltmeter

• Experience with Heavy Equipment

• Must be able to lift 10lbs to 50lbs.
