Position Overview

Tabler 1 trims excess lining and fabric from sides and bottom of drapery panel either on a flat table or vertical table.

What you'll do

Flat Tables
● Remove drapery from rack
● Clamp fabric to rod pocket table
● Check hem and finished length on work ticket
● Inspect fabric for flaws or defects
● Cut fabric and trim off extra lining
● Fold head to heading size
● Unclamp fabric from table
● Place on rack
● Makes hidden tabs – uses iron and serge sewing machine
● Perform other duties as assigned Vertical Tables
● Remove drapery from rack
● Clamp fabric to vertical tabling machine
● Enter hem and finished length from work ticket on control box
● Raise machine to finished length
● Inspect fabric for flaws or defects
● Machine will cut fabric
● Cut trim off extra lining
● Unclamp fabric from vertical tabling machine
● Place on rack
● Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are

● High school graduate
● Ability to use and read a tape measure
● General knowledge of fabrics
● Ability to use production equipment
● Ability to use hand tools
● Successfully pass color blind test
● Accuracy with names, numbers and spelling
● Capable of standing for extended periods of time
● Capable of lifting on a continuous basis
● Strong attention to details
● Follow written and verbal instructions
