Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Superintendent with a military background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers • Monitor and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions • Manage and lead a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and training as needed • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable safety and environmental regulations • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency throughout the production process • Maintain accurate records and reports related to production activities, including inventory levels, production output, and quality metrics
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role • Military background preferred • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, with experience in foundry operations a plus • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed decisions • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other production management software
