Job Summary:
The position is for an intermediate technician within the Ski Area Building Maintenance department. This position requires the ability to make competent decisions while thinking of the customer’s and resort’s interests at all times. Use skill-based knowledge to perform assigned tasks in a professional manner at all times with a focus on efficiency and quality of work. This position covers many departments & locations pertaining to repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance as requested.
Job Specifications:
- Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 / hour
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
- Skill Level: Intermediate
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and alert the supervisor to any unsafe conditions that may exist.
- Good knowledge of appliance installation, general mechanics, woodwork, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of plumbing and systems, electrical, controls, and kitchen equipment.
- Repair and replace parts, piping valves and other fittings, drywall application, painting, and other repair and maintenance duties.
- Maintain applicable work orders and vehicle compliance logs.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Knowledgeable on Lockout tag-out procedure, OSHA, EPA, MSDS, and PPE.
- Assure that the integrity of the resort assets is maintained.
- Abide by all safety rules and regulations from corporate, State, and Federal.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs for assigned facilities and equipment.
- Provide training to Entry level staff when required in job-specific tasks.
- Coordinate projects with sub-contractors when required.
- Order and maintain stock for critical equipment for assigned areas.
- Work with other departments and area managers as required.
- Attend applicable training classes for job-specific skills.
- Maintaining positive attitudes even during high-pressure situations; be a good leader.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience - required
- Minimum of four years of related field experience - required
- EPA Refrigerant Certification - preferred
- Strong background in the following skills: plumbing, mechanical system repairs, carpentry, and building repairs.
- HVAC/boiler repair - preferred
- Large kitchen electrical/mechanical troubleshooting - preferred
The expected pay range is $22.00 - $27.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
