Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, a strong understanding of early childhood development, and excellent communication skills. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.

Duties

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Provide a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to explore their interests.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting milestones and identifying areas for growth.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, behavior, and any concerns or milestones.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in early childhood education.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent teaching certification (CDA).
  • Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
  • Understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Background check and clearances required.
