Position Summary
Join a leading heart team known for delivering world-class cardiac care. As a Surgical Technologist CVOR, you will facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures, contributing to a team that has performed over 15,000 heart surgeries, the highest in Northern Colorado. The role demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Surgical Suite Preparation: Prepare surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Equipment Management: Ensure the good working order of equipment and instruments.
- Patient Handling: Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Surgical Assistance: Pass instruments to physicians during surgery, and continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies.
- Specimen Processing: Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
