GENERAL SUMMARY:

Seminole Office Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver to join our team. In this dual role, you will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient storage of materials, and the accurate picking, packing, and shipment of orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of equipment to our customers. Our goal is to enhance operational efficiency, boost profitability, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Warehouse Assistant)
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Perform inventory controls and maintain high-quality standards for audits.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Report any discrepancies promptly.
  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment with preventive care.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Delivery Driver)
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses via various routes.
  • Follow routes and time schedules accurately.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
  • Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Perform inventory controls and maintain high-quality standards for audits.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Complete paperwork and return it to dispatch.
  • Report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor for direction.
  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment with preventive care.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Capable of safely moving large rolling equipment up to 400 lbs.; lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally
  • Forklift experience or license (preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record (must pass company insurance standards)
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • High school diploma
