Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join a leading distribution company in North/South Houston


Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm


Logistics Coordinator Requirements:


  • Must have at least one year of logistics experience.
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
  • Able to pay close attention to detail and multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Experience with Parcel, Rail, OTR, LTL, and International Ocean/Air is preferred.
  • Prior experience in roles such as a Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Manager, Operations Coordinator, or a Shipping Coordinator is a big plus

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate operations of shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory and claims.
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly KPI's to ensure shipments are being shipped on time.
  • Update ERP with accurate delivery information including OBL and release statuses.
  • Address and resolve any shipment or inventory issues.
  • Monitor costs and timeline of shipments.
