We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Liaison to join our team in Ohio. The Safety Liaison will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by coordinating safety protocols, conducting inspections, and promoting safety awareness among employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.

  • Organize and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities. Prepare reports for management review.

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness for various scenarios.

  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to promote a culture of safety and address safety-related concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a safety-related role is preferred.

  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.

Location: Ohio
Hourly Rate: $27 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shifts:

  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

  • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
