Become an integral part of the Investment Team which performs the primary financial analysis and management of information critical for investment decisions. The Investment Team’s work spans multiple product types across a broad range of the commercial real estate space. The Team’s main responsibility is to provide PEG’s investors with top-tier investment opportunities through a thorough analysis of project economics and rigorous market analysis. Specifically, this position will focus on the underwriting and analysis for PEG’s acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical prowess, be a strong strategic thinker, and have good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and underwrite acquisition targets for both development and hotel conversions
• Perform IRR, cash-on-cash, NPV, ROI, discounted cash flow, and other financial analyses
• Assist acquisition deal leads in acquiring new properties into PEG’s existing portfolio including due diligence, working with 3rd parties (brokers, lenders, property inspectors, etc.), financial review, and all other acquisition-related activities
• Assist in drafting investment committee memorandums and equity/investor presentations
• Research market trends impacting the broader real estate market

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to operate in complex financial models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) • Proactive and able to solve complex problems with minimal guidance
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including specifically Excel and PowerPoint
