Position:Seasonal Private Chef (Summer)
Locations:Bridgewater, CT
Schedule:April through Thanksgiving, Thursday Monday with flexibility (hours TBD)
Salary:$500/day
Summary:
Active couple in Bridgewater, CT is looking for seasonal Private Chef who can support a casual family with lunch and dinner. The Chef should be comfortable preparing healthy and nutritious meals in line with the familys dietary restrictions.
Responsibilities:
- Cooking lunch and dinner for couple as required by schedule. Couples older children and their families live nearby and may need occasional meal assistance as well
- Responsible for household food inventory, including buying, storing, hygiene and sanitation as well as efficient cost management
- Necessary food shopping and sourcing of seasonal ingredients
- Record favorite meals of the employers and work continuously on new recipes/menus
Qualifications:
Must have previous experience in a comparable residence role
Comfortability preparing simple, healthy meals as well as high-end cuisine if needed
Low ego and be open to feedback and improvements overall
Must hold the utmost discretion and confidentiality standards
Non-smoking
Spanish speaking a big plus
