Position overview

Our Client Banking Specialists play a key role in our organization; to provide high quality, exceptional service to our existing and prospective clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consistently delivers outstanding client service; providing premiere client satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
  • Acts as a cultural ambassador to internal and external clients, providing a professional, exceptional, and supportive experience with each interaction.
  • Initiates conversations to uncover client needs and effectively refers customers to business partners for the selling and cross-selling of Bank products and services to clients, so that personal and Bank goals are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Develops rapport with the client base by being proactive and timely with requests and problem resolution and displaying a caring attitude to assist client in identification of financial needs.
  • Performs account opening, closing and maintenance.
  • Grow and maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered, taking responsibility to keep up to date and request assistance for further development needs.
  • Communicates via written or verbal format, at a professional level common within a business setting.
  • Works in a team environment; interacting with co-workers and management in a positive manner.
  • Maintains a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all client business confidential.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months experience in a client-facing banking role.
  • 6 months experience handling cash, counting and balancing.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Must be able to apply for and receive notary license in order to assist with loan closings/client requests.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Client Banking or Universal Banking position.
  • Experience uncovering client needs and effectively referring customers to business partners.
  • Registration as Mortgage Loan Originator through the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
