Our Client Banking Specialists play a key role in our organization; to provide high quality, exceptional service to our existing and prospective clients.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently delivers outstanding client service; providing premiere client satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Acts as a cultural ambassador to internal and external clients, providing a professional, exceptional, and supportive experience with each interaction.
- Initiates conversations to uncover client needs and effectively refers customers to business partners for the selling and cross-selling of Bank products and services to clients, so that personal and Bank goals are consistently met or exceeded.
- Develops rapport with the client base by being proactive and timely with requests and problem resolution and displaying a caring attitude to assist client in identification of financial needs.
- Performs account opening, closing and maintenance.
- Grow and maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered, taking responsibility to keep up to date and request assistance for further development needs.
- Communicates via written or verbal format, at a professional level common within a business setting.
- Works in a team environment; interacting with co-workers and management in a positive manner.
- Maintains a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all client business confidential.
This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a client-facing banking role.
- 6 months experience handling cash, counting and balancing.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Must be able to apply for and receive notary license in order to assist with loan closings/client requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Client Banking or Universal Banking position.
- Experience uncovering client needs and effectively referring customers to business partners.
- Registration as Mortgage Loan Originator through the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
