We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Program Manager to work in our Head Quarters in Vienna, VA. This is a hybrid position with days in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.


Job Summary:

The position scope includes Operations, Finance, Client relationship building, Sales, Contracts and personnel management. This account has over 60 FTE and supports over 1800 agency staff and 250,000 external customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate manages substantial program/technical support operations involving multiple projects/task orders and personnel at diverse locations.
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and execution of all program/technical support activities.
  • Simultaneously plans and manages the transition of several highly technical projects.
  • Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure to effectively direct program/technical support activities.
  • Meets and confers with Government management officials regarding the status of specific program/technical activities as well as problems, issues, or conflicts requiring resolution.
  • Monitoring Customer Experience Feedback, Quality Assurance and Audits Management, Documentation Oversite, Net Promoter Score, Staffing Plan, Risk Management Plan, Communications Plan, and DSFG Staff Training.

Qualifications:

  • Master's and 7 years' experience or bachelor's and 10 years' experience.
  • 10 years IT program/project management experience, civilian government experience.
  • 10 years managing IT Operations.
  • Demonstrated information technology expertise and communications skills to be able to interface with all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated track record of contracts management.
  • Demonstrated experience driving complex issues to closure with internal and external.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Foundations or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an IT related field

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

  • Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
  • Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
  • Learns and memories routine tasks.
  • Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
