Relocation support is not available for this opportunity.This position is largely a remote role with in-office meetings and business travel about 15% of the time.

The purr-fect candidate -

· Experience recruiting in the veterinary industry or healthcare

· Utilizes social media, boolean logic, and other networking platforms to proactively source prospects while building a solid candidate pipeline

· Ability to build strong relationships with field leadership and cultivate strong relationships with candidates

· Organized, organized, organized

· Attend career fairs, conventions, and other relevant veterinary networking events

· Recruits for credentialed positions within a veterinary hospital

· Partner with our Recruitment Manager to support our internal workforce planning measures

· Act as a super-user for our ATS, including supporting the training and FAQs sessions for new practice locations and staff

· Lead efforts to support our candidate pool and pipeline

· Assist with WellHaven's Student Internship Program and campus support

· Review and update job descriptions, job postings, and sourcing campaigns

· Present hiring managers with qualified candidates, understanding which positions each candidate is suitable for (multiple hospital openings)

· Support hiring managers with their interview process

· Lives in the greater Vancouver, WA or greater Minneapolis, MN market

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Able to remain organized and pay close attention to the details

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong customer service skills – highly responsive with a sense of urgency

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Maintain knowledge of the industry, geographic employment landscape, and regional challenges

Experience and Education Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years experience in a recruiting function

· ATS and/or electronic candidate application experience

· Veterinary Industry or Healthcare experience

· Bachelor's degree required

· Ability to work independently, be driven to succeed, and be flexible to meet hospital and candidate needs

· Polished communicator for internal and external communication
