JOB TITLE: Bartender

REPORTS TO: Lounge Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Prepare and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by property standards.

1. Receive and input guest food orders into Aloha system; deliver and provide exceptional service to guests dining in lounge area.

1. Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.

1. Enter guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by property policies and procedures.

1. Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.

1. Know and comply with state liquor laws.

1. Ensure established pars are maintained.

1. Perform the duties of Room Service Server as scheduled.

1. Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules.

1. TIPS Certified or willing to get certification within 30 days of hire.

Experience: One or more years of bartending experience in full-service hotel preferred.

Age: Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Ability to read, speak and write English.
2. Ability to accurately count cash.
3. Ability to operate cash register.
4. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds to four feet above ground.
