Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital is looking for a Marketing & Fundraising Associate to support all Grace Cottage Foundation efforts. Grace Cottage Foundation is the fundraising, marketing, and public relations department of Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital. We are looking for someone who is positive, energetic, and passionate about the mission of Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital.


Job Responsibilities: To support Foundation activities including coordination of special events; donor relations; solicitation of sponsorships; development and implementation of ad campaigns and materials for all departments; creation and submission of press releases; assistance with data entry and database management; maintenance of social media presence; coordination of meetings and minutes; other related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements: Bachelor level degree; proficiency with social media required; fundraising/community relations experience preferred; excellent written and oral communication skills; positive, energetic, enthusiastic relationship-builder; able to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects and events.

Essential Functions Of The Position:

  • Is skilled in doing grants research – knows where to seek the relevant information and keeps up- to-date on local, state, and national organizations that award grants.
  • Has excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Is organized and focused.
  • Keeps Grace Cottage’s website up-to-date; familiarity with Word Press. Works with the website designer to make changes, as needed.
  • Helps to keep Donor Perfect database current and accurate.
  • Develops relationships with area media outlets; writes and submits press release and advertising as needed.
  • Stays up-to-date on changes at Grace Cottage; keeps a good working knowledge of the facility, all departments, and activities in order to be current when grant applications are written.
  • Takes photographs, as needed, for publications, publicity, social media, and website.
  • Demonstrates attention to details.
  • Interacts with donors, co-workers, volunteers, and vendors in a timely and professional manner.
  • Completes tasks correctly and on time. Prioritizes and plans work activities, using time effectively and efficiently.
  • Inspires respect and trust.
  • Is oriented to the vision, mission, and profitability of GCFH&H.
