Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement models to assess and manage financial risks for insurance and pension plans.
  • Analyze statistical data, such as mortality, accident, sickness, disability, and retirement rates.
  • Design and price insurance policies, annuities, and pension plans based on risk assessment models.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of risk management strategies and product offerings.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of actuarial models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, financial analysts, and other stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on risk analysis and financial projections for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in actuarial analysis, risk management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical modeling and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Excel).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex actuarial concepts to non-specialists.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry developments and best practices.
