MCHC's Care for Her is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant. At Care for Her, Medical Assistants (MAs) are vital to our comprehensive obstetrics and gynecological care team. They prepare patients for visits by taking vital signs and conducting specialty tests like hearing and vision screenings. MAs report any abnormal values to providers, assist with exams and procedures, and manage the transportation of sterile tools. They review patient records to ensure up-to-date health maintenance and prepare patients for clinical visits by explaining procedures and assisting with necessary preparations. Additionally, MAs administer medications as directed, including immunizations, and stay current on vaccine guidelines. Their support helps ensure that patients receive expert and compassionate care throughout all stages of life.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
