Job Summary
Atlas RX is looking for a dedicated Locum PIC Pharmacist for a 3-6 month contract period.  Salary or 1099 option.  This role will focus on the compounding of products, with additional responsibilities as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC). The Pharmacist in Charge will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm

Core Responsibilities
  • Preparation and compounding of products
  • Maintaining the pharmacy work environment to USP 795 requirements
  • Inventory management and storage
  • Complete appropriate documentation
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy as the Pharmacist in Charge
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality
  • Train and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Compounding Pharmacist
  • State licensed Pharmacist and in good standing
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of all relevant USP compounding guidelines
  • Knowledge of state laws regulating pharmaceutical compounding practices
  • High proficiency in computer usage
  • Strong knowledge of product preparation, compounding, packaging, and labeling, etc.
