Benzeen Auto Parts has been serving its customers for over 10 years with all late model vehicle parts and providing high-quality customer service, and we are looking for a Parcel and Freight tech to join our Marysville team As a Parcel and Freight tech, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient packaging of our of parts for delivery to customers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage communication with logistic team skype groups (ie dispatch, Ebay, Shipping and freight)

  • Ensuring propers steps of shipping are being adhered to by parcel and freight techs

  • Instructing Parcel techs on what orders are priority and ensuring they get shipped out

  • Supporting shipping inventory by completely weekly counts

  • Invoicing all parcel and freight shipments and storing for records

  • Schedules large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments

  • Troubleshoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them

  • Ensures a clean and safe environment, following Benzeen policies

  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED and/or two (2) year shipping & handling experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • LTL/freight experience

  • Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance

  • Warehouse experience

  • Forklift experience

  • Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct

  • Good interpersonal communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to stand for long periods of time

  • May involve some repetitive motions

  • May be required to lift, push, and slide packages that weigh up to 75lbs
