Saw Operator

Co-Staff is actively hiring for 1st shift for a client in Whitewater, WI This client is seeking dedicated candidates to add to their Production team

SHIFT:

1st Shift: 6am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

PAY:

$18-$20/hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Operates horizontal band saw, vertical band saw, and deburr parts after cutting.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Position materials in work areas and yard.

2.Operate machinery as instructed to cut and deburr raw material according to cut sheets and prints.

3.Use hand tools to assemble or disassemble parts or assemblies as directed.

4.Assist others in work assignments or work as instructed by the Shop Supervisor.

5.Maintain a safe working environment; promote and follow safe work practices; comply with company safety policies.

6.Maintain a clean and orderly work area; clean up employee work station at the completion of each job or at the end of shift.

7.Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma, G.E.D., or one (1) to three (3) years of experiencein a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience as determined by the Shop Supervisor or the Operations Manager. Strong math and communication skills required. Ability to read a drawing and design documents accurately. Ability toread a tape measure is required.
