General Warehouse Laborer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCardinal Staffing Services is hiring General Warehouse Laborer for a Floral company in Westland, MI. Pay is $16 per hour*
DURING THE MOTHER’S DAY HOLIDAY (Wed May 1st - Mon May 13th) We will work 7 nights a week. ** Must be flexible.**The overnight shift will start between 9-10pm and end around 3am. Hours will vary depending on production that day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists Transportation Supervisor with packing finished goods for delivery - Assist with cooler clean-up (squeegee mop water, sweep debris out of the cooler, move and stage empty carts at water station)- Remove empty pallets from cooler and stack in Warehouse- Shrink wrapping completed orders- Removing empty racks from trucks and loading completed racks onto trucks- Checking off order list by store/route- Bending, squatting, lifting, and moving 5lb buckets containing delicate perishable items Accurately count and follow directions - Requires use of an Analog Pallet Jack. Must be able to routinely lift and carry 35lbs and okay with working in a cooler (approximately 35 degrees)**
