Overview

  • Specialty: Cath Lab Holding
  • Start Date: Open
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 4x10 Days will vary as needed between 7am-7pm, totaling 40 hours, weekdays, no weekends or on call EOW, holidays

Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Travel RN- Cath Lab Holding in Chesapeake, VA. The RN will be responsible for providing care to pre and post recovery patients that are having or have had a minimally invasive cardiac procedure i.e. coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, EP device implants, and associated medications and drips ...etc. Therefore the RN will need critical care exposure with cardiac patients

Qualifications

  • Certs Required: BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association
  • Must be EPIC proficient - NO EXCEPTIONS
  • 2 years experience in Critical Care or ED required; travel experience preferred
  • ED, ICU or Cath lab/Holding experience required
  • Compact or VA license in hand - no exceptions
