Inventory Specialist

Job Summary:

We seek an Inventory Specialist to oversee and manage our company's inventory. The ideal candidate will monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, update inventory records, and ensure accurate stock levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
  • Update inventory records in the database
  • Analyze data to anticipate future inventory needs
  • Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure stock levels meet demand
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
    Generate reports on inventory turnover, stock levels, and other key metrics

Requirements and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience working in inventory management or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Physical ability to lift and move inventory when necessary
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for inventory counts or audits
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to inventory handling and storage
