Legal Assistants are vital to maintaining our standards of excellence. They have an immediate impact on our day-to-day operations by providing comprehensive attorney support, outstanding client services, and timely and accurate document preparation.

Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues
  • Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents
  • Respond to client requests for information
  • Manage client workflows
  • Draft legal documents such as trusts, wills, powers of attorney, deeds, probate, and other court documents
  • Maintain case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible
  • Scheduling appointments for attorneys
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
  • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
  • Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies
