Job Title: Concrete Curb Foreman

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Concrete Curb Foreman to join our team and lead our curb installation projects.

Position Overview: As a Concrete Curb Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concrete curb installation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of skilled workers, manage project timelines, and collaborate closely with project managers to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of concrete curb installers, providing guidance and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on the worksite.
  • Plan and organize daily activities, including material procurement, equipment allocation, and workforce scheduling.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and develop effective solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to project specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in concrete construction, with a focus on curb installation preferred.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and project specifications.
  • Ability to operate construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
