Job Description: Warehouse Processor – Charlotte Metropolitan Area

Our products can be used in a wide variety of industries, such as the automotive and office chair manufacturing industries, furniture technology, solar industry, medical technology, and many other industrial applications.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Processor position is on 1st shift which is from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. There may be opportunities to work some overtime on weekends.
Essential Job Functions:
- Process materials from the warehouse to ensure that the parts match the order, are labeled, and packaged correctly, and being shipped out to the proper location as scheduled.
- Updates, researches, and maintains materials inventory records through the company computer system – enters, retrieves, edits data, and prints out various labels/lists, recaps and summaries of inventory control.
- Follows up to clarify parts inventory discrepancies such as lost, inaccurate counts, improper codes/identification, unidentified parts, etc.
Job Requirements
Education, Training, Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 3 to 6 months of warehouse shipping experience is required to become proficient in most phases of the job.
- Experience working with computers and shipping software preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred.
Job Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of warehouse processes, procedures, and safety standards
- Follows established procedures for processing and dispersing materials with judgement and initiative required to maintain accuracy of work and complete job tasks efficiently.
- Good computer skills. Previous experience with warehouse systems and RF scanners preferred
- General inventory control principles
- Knowledgeable of 5S and Lead Manufacturing Principles
- Language Skills
Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Reasoning Ability
Must have good reasoning ability.
- Mathematical Skills
Basic mathematical skills a must.
- Contact with Others
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of associates including management.
- Resourcefulness and Initiative
Performs operations with recognized procedural methods. Most tasks are routine in nature.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment with continuous forklift operation present
- Extensive walking over large area, with bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, and pulling required. Moves large, heavy, bulky cargo with assistance of material handling equipment. Moderate to heavy lifting UP TO 50 pounds is required.
- Repetitive motion and using fine motor skills.
- Exposed to potential cuts of hands and fingers, mashed foot, hands, head injuries, back injuries or falls.
