HVAC Superintendent

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWay Mechanical is located in San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, and Houston. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of design build/design assist, preconstruction, commissioning, building information modeling and quality control. Way Mechanical is currently in need of an HVAC Superintendent to join the teamRequirements:· Able to pass a drug test· Legally eligible to work in the US· High school diploma· Current driver’s license· Proficient in English language· Must have Commercial HVAC experience· 7-10 years of experience running HVAC ductwork for large projects· Line out all field employees in region based off project needs· Attend bi-weekly Job Cost Meetings with specific answers for every project in region· Report to corporate headquarters daily· Establish relationship with regional General Manager and communicate with them daily· Train your foreman and potential foreman· Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications· Layout hangers utilizing dimensions or a Trimble unit· Full knowledge of ductwork, duct systems, water gauge, and different materials used· Work with fellow employees with a respectful and tolerant attitudeTypical duties include but are not limited to:· Line out employees each day for your region· Work necessary hours to hit mandatory deadlines· Ensure your Foreman fill out Daily Reports, 3 Week Look Aheads, percent complete on project, and make them accountable to turn in employee’s time· Communicate with Project Managers and Foreman and General Manager every day· Attend onsite meetings with Mechanical and GC when necessary· Ensure Foreman install the highest quality product· Represent McCorvey in a professional mannerPerks of the Trade:
