The Leasing and Guest Experience Manager is responsible for the leasing and renewals of this Class A project. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales, is a fantastic short- and long-term planner and is excited about being part of the marketing efforts of the building.

Responsibilities:

  • Works hand-in-hand with General Manager to ensure leasing goals of property are achieved through leasing and renewal retention.
    • Respond to leads, provides tours and closes the sale
    • Discusses with potential residents the advantages of leasing at the property
    • Screens and qualifies rental applications for potential residents
    • Negotiate rates and terms for leases as needed within budgeted parameters and lease expiration matrix
    • Tracks traffic, appointments, and leases daily.
    • Proposes pricing adjustments as needed by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
    • Coordinate the resident move-in experience from application to post move-in
    • Organize on and off-site social events
    • Responsible for reviewing the leasing files to ensure accuracy.
    • Submits commission reports monthly in a timely manner.
    • Complies with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.
    • Respond and take action to resolve any issues impacting the regular day to day operations
    • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2 years of experience in sales or sales management role
  • 2-year college degree
  • Must have a strong sales background with a solid history of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Must be competitive and self-motivated with a strong, independent work ethic
  • Demonstrated success with negotiating sales
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Must be attentive to detail and adhere to company standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Weekend availability

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Leasing, marketing, and/or property management experience
  • Knowledge of the Minneapolis real estate market
