Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Sales Engineer/Territory Manager to join our expanding team. Responsibilities:
  • Manage, develop and expand a sales territory of existing customers and identify new customers and opportunities.
  • Develop and follow a territory sales plan that aligns with growth forecasts and sales goals.
  • Become very knowledgeable on assigned product lines, striving to become a resource of solutions for assigned customers.
  • Build successful internal and external customer relationships.
  • Be part of a team that effectively utilizes Company resources and shares leads with other sales colleagues.
  • Work independently without daily supervision but remain responsive to Company management requests for assignments and account intelligence.
  • Facilitate the sales forecast and input to the company’s CRM system.
  • Negotiate win-win contracts that make good business sense for the Company and our customers.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory, occasional overnight travel as required.
Requirements
  • 1 -5 years of automation & controls outside sales experience with application knowledge
  • An engineering degree is preferred;
  • Strong technical and communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Proven track record—candidate has successfully demonstrated technical know-how in previous job or project assignments;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, contact management/CRM software;
  • Mechanical and/or electro-mechanical aptitude.
