The Administrative Assistant / Shipping coordinator will work closely with the Location Manager and site personnel to ensure that our customers shipping needs and schedules are met in an accurate and timely way. This position will key on the following core responsibilities:

Coordinate and balance our customers’ seed shipment schedules with our dock capacity to ensure timely shipments

Be the point of contact for shipping related activities at the Dike Location

Complete timely audits of shipping activities and product inventories

Work with Plant Operations Manager to ensure accurate inventories of our customers products

Assisting with operation of truck scale activities throughout the year

Assist other areas of plant and field operations in the non-peak season

Assist Administrative Supervisor with various activities

Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in logistics or supply planning activities is helpful

Proficient in Microsoft office based activities such as excel, word, and power point.

Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
