Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Boiler Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of industrial boilers and associated equipment. This role requires a thorough understanding of boiler systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial boilers, burners, and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair boiler malfunctions, including issues with controls, pumps, valves, and other components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of boiler systems.
  • Monitor boiler operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new boiler systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and departments to coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in boiler maintenance is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Boiler Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler systems, including fire-tube, water-tube, and steam boilers.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of boiler systems.
  • Familiarity with boiler safety regulations and best practices.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
